Our student support team can recommend what apps are available to help you monitor and manage your well being by measuring activity levels, monitoring sleep, recording calories intake, check heart rate, blood pressure and more.
Identifying key stress factors and improving diet, exercise and sleep can all contribute to a better management of stress, technology to assist with assisting you to keep dietary records, rest patterns and moods may also be recommended.
Speech recognition and mind-mapping software are available to enable students to work more effectively by helping you be more productive. Speech recognition software such as Dragon records spoken words into written text much faster than typing.
Email management training is available as it is proven that it may have a great impact on your stress levels when outstanding tasks build up or when you do not have a system in place for managing expectations. Increasing organisation and control can positively influence how you complete tasks.
Note-taking software is useful for reducing stress that may occur over meetings, presentations, training sessions and seminars as it is useful for noting down notes.
Syncing email, calendar and to-do lists is another way to improve organisation. Adding events, and deadlines on your calendar can also assist with prioritising work and getting things done.
Mind mapping software can assist with brainstorming, note taking, planning, organising as well as revising for your IT training. It can also assist with structuring reports and presentations, and breaking down complex projects into manageable tasks.
