Azalea Academy is a community interest company. We were founded to empower and support women in pursuing a career or business in Technology through our four core activities:

Our Vision

​

We aim to make a substantial difference in increasing the percentage of women in the IT workforce in the UK.

​

Our Objectives

​

• Provide quality training courses online and offline that reflect the latest industry standards.

​

• Provide student support to enable girls and women that may not have been able to pursue training without it, to complete courses within their chosen subject area and go on to purse a IT career or business of their choice.

​

• Provide basic IT training for seniors in order to enable them to live more convenient, social and secure lives.

​

• Create a network of women in IT in order to grow the community, support those who struggle, encourage more women to train, learn from each other, share guidance and advice and grow friendships.

​

• To champion and promote IT to women that may not be aware of all of the benefits a career in IT brings such as work life balance, flexibility, freedom and independence.
